During a routine appointment, we perform a comprehensive exam using low-radiation digital x-rays and tiny intraoral cameras to create detailed images of your mouth and jaw. You can expect a tooth-by-tooth examination, oral cancer screening, gum disease analysis, and bite and TMJ evaluation. Professional cleanings are done by our hygienists. A thorough cleaning removes bacteria that toothbrush bristles and dental floss can’t reach.

If the evaluation indicates areas of concern, Dr. Whatley will discuss them with you and make treatment recommendations. Your input is important in treatment planning. We want you to be completely happy before we proceed with any restorative or cosmetic procedure.
